  2. Withers & saddle area, with hands marking saddle position
  3. Topline view of horse’s back from behind or above

Highly Recommended (if your horse uses a current saddle):

  1. Saddle on horse — side view, girth tightened, no pad
  2. Saddle from behind — panel contact visible
  3. Gullet width — ruler across front
  4. Plate size or width marking if available
